Publisher Description
Dive into a fully-immersive exploration of the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) in this visit to an undersea oil and gas site. Then lift off in your own helicopter for further examples of the IoT in action. You'll respond to early warning alerts and race to repair a pipeline breach in the freezing deep sea darkness, and you'll navigate around weather turbulence to perform an emergency rescue. Thanks to cutting-edge analytic software, you’ll get real-time insight and guidance to complete these critical tasks.
This new VR experience offers examples of how the Predix cloud platform can make the Industrial IoT a reality. Predix lets developers connect machines and devices, manage industrial data, and transform the way that industries work – from oil and gas to healthcare to manufacturing to aviation – and everything in between.
